| I don't have an Internet Service Provider or a Hosting Provider, can I still register a domain name? |
Yes, just remember to not enter any nameservers in your profile. You can always opt for Google Apps (free) or Classic DNS (free) service during the order process or afterwards via your Domain Manager Account (DMA). Click on a domain in your account and then either order or manage services.
Once you have your hosting account setup, you may update the domain nameservers to those offered by your hosting provider by logging into your DMA and clicking the domain name you wish to update.
Please remember to remove any DNS services that the domain may already be subscribed to.
To remove a service, log into your account and click on the domain name. On the subsequent page look for and click on the Delete [x] option next to the service you wish to remove. |
